Bahati North Comprehensive School: Hard work pays

Bahati North Comprehensive School was founded on one powerful belief: hard work pays. It is more than a motto printed on a wall – it is the philosophy that shapes every classroom, every interaction and every opportunity we create for the children in our care.

Located in Nakuru County, Kenya, Bahati North Comprehensive School is a vibrant educational institution dedicated to providing quality, holistic education from early childhood all the way through to Junior Secondary under Kenya’s Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). Since our founding, we have grown into a community of over 400 students, 20+ qualified staff members and more than 80 graduates stepping confidently into the world every year. We are proud of every one of them.

Our Mission: Quality Education with Purpose

Our mission is to provide quality education that promotes integrity, creativity, and resilience in every learner – guided by the firm belief that hard work pays. We do not measure success by grades alone. We measure it by the kind of person a learner becomes: the discipline they carry, the confidence they project and the integrity they bring to every situation they face.

At Bahati North, we are committed to creating a supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to discover their talents, build their character, and achieve their full potential. That commitment is real — it shows up in how our teachers prepare their lessons, how our school day is structured, and how we engage with families and the wider community.

Our Vision: A Leading Centre of Learning

Bahati North Comprehensive school  aspires to be a leading centre of learning in Nakuru County and beyond – one that inspires excellence, discipline and innovation through hard work and determination. That vision drives everything we plan and everything we build. We are not content to simply deliver lessons; we are building a school that generations of families in Bahati North can be proud to be part of.

We believe that when a school gets its culture right – when learners feel safe, seen and challenged – academic results follow naturally. That is the environment we have worked hard to cultivate, and it is what families consistently tell us they value most about Bahati North.

Core Values That Define Our Community

Our school community is united by six core values that guide everything we do:

  • Discipline – We nurture self-regulation and responsible behavior in every learner, helping them develop habits that will serve them for life.
  • Integrity – We teach our students to be honest and accountable in all things, building a school culture grounded in trust and transparency.
  • Teamwork – We celebrate collaboration, knowing that learners who work well with others are better prepared for the world beyond school.
  • Respect – We foster a culture of mutual respect among students, staff, and families – because dignity is the foundation of any great learning community.
  • Commitment – We encourage our learners to show up fully, give their best, and follow through on their responsibilities.
  • Perseverance – We teach our students that challenges are not reasons to give up -they are opportunities to grow stronger.

A School Rooted in Community

Bahati North Comprehensive School is not just a school for this community – it is a school of this community. We understand the values, the aspirations and the everyday realities of the families we serve in Nakuru County. That understanding shapes our approach to admissions, to pastoral care, to how we communicate with parents, and to the kind of school culture we have built.

Our school buses serve key routes across Nakuru, our boarding facilities offer a secure and supervised residential option for learners who need it, and our open-door approach to parent engagement means families are always welcome to be part of what we are building here.
